Hannah Klaus Hunter

A practicing artist since 1983, Hannah currently works in both printmaking and collage. After spending many years practicing art therapy with young patients at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Hannah is delighted that many of her botanical prints and collages are displayed in hospitals, including NYU Langone, Kaiser Permanente, California and the Boston Children’s Hospital.

Hannah’s recent work combines a love of botanical art with words, text and images, journal entries and collage. Committed to creating beauty in a troubled world, she now lives on Whidbey Island, Washington in the Puget Sound, a hot-bed of verdant plant life.

For fifty years, The Artery has been a dynamic hub of artistic expression and community collaboration. As a proud cooperative, we have nurtured countless talents and celebrated diverse artistic visions since our founding in 1974.

We're thrilled to announce our new monthly Spotlight Artist program, launching this March 2024! We invite artists to submit their work for consideration, offering a chance to showcase their creations in our gallery and beyond.

How to Apply

Interested artists can request the submission form here. Once submitted, your work will undergo a screening process for approval. Please note that the medium, style, or theme should align with our commitment to offering a diverse range of artistic expressions.
