Mary Jane Classen

I took a pottery class in 1971 and fell in love with clay. Little did I know, four years later it would become my livelihood. I make utilitarian ware fired to cone 5 (2160 degrees) electric. For my own pleasure, I throw some pots with cone 10 (2345 degrees) clay and fire with gas. All of my pots are oven, microwave, and dishwasher proof and food safe. I have been an Artery member for 49 years so I would say I like it here!
